What goes into a 12WBT recipe?

What you eat is even more important than how much you exercise. Of course exercise does amazing things for your mind and your body, but your weight and your health will always come down to what you put in your mouth.

Because weight loss equates to roughly 80% nutrition and 20% exercise, a whole heap of work and effort goes on behind the scenes to ensure that the 12 Week Body Transformation Meal Plans are simple, nutritious and delicious.

The 12WBT philosophy has nothing to do with deprivation, cutting out any food or food groups or eating food that tastes like cardboard, because eating for good health should be fun!

There aren’t many “diets” out there that have curries, meat pies, pizza or cheesecake on the menu, but these are just some of the things that you can expect as part of the 12WBT.

You can put together a healthy meal that will keep you on the straight and narrow weight wise and that the family will love in the time it would take you to get takeaway – how good is that?!

All 12WBT recipes are developed and tested to ensure that:
  • They aim to use less than 10 ingredients
  • Are flavoured up with herbs, spices and tasty ingredients, rather than excess salt
  • Are calorie controlled for your requirements
  • Aim to be budget, time and family friendly
  • Portions are reasonable and satisfying

Learning to cook good, nutritious food for yourself is one of the most important skills you can have for your health. If you want to learn how to eat well, feel great and trim a few kilos off your waistline check out www.12wbt.com and join the 12WBT family today!

    1. Weight gain is a natural occurrence throughout pregnancy – you need to eat well and stay active to ensure that you and your baby have all the right vitamins and minerals – after all you are growing a little life in there! My best advice is to speak with you GP about your pregnancy and concerns!

    1. Hey Michelle! The 12WBT has a pregnancy and breastfeeding program and quite a few members have fallen pregnant after losing weight and getting their mind and body in the best condition possible. This isn’t the solution for everyone, so I would check with your doctor and see what they recommend! All the best!
