7 Party Snacks Under 100 Calories

Need some inspiration for low-calorie party snacks that still taste delicious? Here are 7 awesome recipes, sure to please the crowd!

Homemade cheesy paprika dip

Take 1 cup of veggies (this can be broccoli florets, capsicum, green beans, carrot or celery) and dip into 3 tablespoons of low-fat cream cheese mixed with a pinch of paprika, cracked black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground garlic (add more if you’re a garlic fiend!). Devils on Horseback

Yep, this surprisingly delicious 70s fave can come in at under 100 calories per piece! Simply wrap a small, pitted date or prune with a small sliver of prosciutto (trim the fat off), skewer with a toothpick and bake in a hot oven until golden.

Fruit kebabs with chocolate drizzle

Alternate sliced banana, halved strawberries, melon and watermelon cubes on a large skewer. Place on a large tray, and drizzle with melted dark chocolate. Pop in the fridge until hard.

Chocolate Bananas

Cut half a banana into 3 to 4 thick slices, and skewer each slice with a toothpick. Dip the lower half into some melted dark chocolate (minimum 80% cocoa solids). Freeze until the chocolate has hardened.

Frozen cherries

Summer is cherry season, plus they look so delicious and Christmassy! Simply pop one cup into a zip-lock bag and freeze until hard.

Chop three large strawberries in half. Sandwich the halves back together with 1 teaspoon of low-fat ricotta, spread evenly in the middle.
