One of the most common questions I get asked is “Mish, what do you eat in a day?” It’s like a dirty, little secret that people think i’m keeping from them…believe me, it’s no secret! I just don’t think that people will be interested in my diet on a day to day basis, but apparently you are.
So, here is your chance to jump into my joggers and see exactly what I eat in a day. Obviously every day is different, but this example is a basic day on a plate for myself and Axel. Enjoy!
Breakfast
1 slice of sourdough toast
1 poached egg
1 cup wilted spinach
¼ avocado
½ teaspoon chilli flakes
Snack 1
1 cup Greek yoghurt
½ cup berries
Lunch
Leftovers from the night before
Eg. White fish with salad
Snack 2
1 handful of nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts)
Raw and unsalted – I see you over there, trying to sneak in with roasted, salted nuts!
Dinner

I steam Axel’s veggies without any spice as he prefers plainer foods at the moment
As I mentioned, most days are different and we switch up our snacks depending on what we feel like that day. Some alternatives include fruit, a probiotic shot, dried fruit, nuts or rice cakes. I also try to drink at least 2 litres of water a day, and encourage Axel to do the same.
